Football is a game of passion — but passion is no excuse for abuse. We remind our community that anti-social behaviour and abuse has no place in our game. Together, let’s make sure Victorian football is a safe, welcoming space for all.

Celebrate Soccer Mums

Thursday 14 May | 6:30pm – 8:00pm | Newhaven

Calling all Soccer Mums! Whether you’ve played before or watched 42,673 games from the sidelines, you’re invited to join this Thursday’s Senior Women’s training session.

The session will be fun, welcoming, and supportive, with all abilities encouraged to take part. The evening will finish with a friendly match featuring a blend of Soccer Mums and Senior Women players.

Many of this year’s Senior Women first began through the Soccer Mums program, and every session is filled with encouragement, connection, and plenty of laughter.

Some of our previous Soccer Mum participants are once again heading to compete in the PlayHER Tournament (formerly GO Soccer Mums) at Knox Regional Football Centre on Saturday 16 May. We wish them a fantastic and fun day ahead!

Female Skills Clinic

Friday 15 May | 4:30pm – 5:30pm | Newhaven

To celebrate Female Football Week, we’re excited to invite female players from MiniRoos, Under 12s, Under 15s, and all registered Mini Tillies/Go Girls participants to a free skills clinic.

The session will focus on developing football skills in a safe, fun, and supportive environment, with activities designed for players of all experience levels.

Come along ready to learn, have fun, and join in!

Girls in Sport: How They’re Different to Boys and What Helps Them Thrive

We are thrilled to welcome Stacey Fisher on Friday 22 May for a free education and inspiration session for our Under 12 and Under 15 girls.

The session, Girls in Sport: How They’re Different to Boys and What Helps Them Thrive, will explore the unique experiences of young female athletes and provide valuable insights into supporting their confidence, development, and enjoyment in sport.

Our Senior Women’s Team, who are deeply passionate about empowering the young females in our club, will also be attending to show their support and encouragement.

The session begins at 5:00pm, with regular Under 12 and Under 15 training to follow afterwards.
